Platter – Curly Flame Boxelder

Small platter. Curly Flame Boxelder. Botanical tung oil finish. 7″ x 1″

This platter came from a tree in Pomeroy Park in Burlington, VT. The red coloration is the result of the tree’s response to storm damage, over time it will eventually turn to a less vibrant brown as exposed to uv light.
