Shallow bowl – Walnut

Shallow bowl. Black Walnut. Botanical tung oil finish. 8″ x 1.5″.

This bowl came from a walnut tree in Burlington Vermont’s Hill Section which had to be taken down to save the gardens beneath it. The shallow cove in the rim is mirrored with a cove in the profile of the foot.
